The Friend, Love and Freefall tour!
Rainbow Kitten Surprise and all five of its members hail from the mountains of Boone, North Carolina. With catchy, meaningful lyrics, beautifully designed bass lines, and melodic guitar riffs, they'll have you humming their tunes all day long. This alternative/indie-pop band shows influences from Modest Mouse, Lana Del Rey, and Kings of Leon, but they have a way with a song that's all their own. RKS was formed in early 2013 when the first two members, Sam Melo and Darrick "Bozzy" Keller, decided to begin writing and composing music together. What started out as just two college students with acoustic guitars turned into a full band with the addition of Ethan Goodpaster on lead guitar, Charlie Holt on bass, and Jess Haney on drums. Soon the group's sense of ensemble and their chilling harmonies gained them a reputation as a great live act. After riveting performances at CMJ and Savannah Stopover, their fan base has gone national. Whether you’ve been a fan for years or minutes, you know this is just the beginning for Rainbow Kitten Surprise.
